I did enjoy the feeling of control that came from using Xbox Media Centre to play everything.
Would connect to AV inputs 1, 2 and 3. And 4. (Don’t ask.)
I still use XBMC. The scart auto-switches onto the right channel when I turn it on, and never have to install codecs. If my missus can use it without throwing the remote out of the windows, it must be simple.
